Spoilers: Game of Thrones Jaime Lannister may die in next season.

GAME OF THRONES’ Jaime Lannister has managed to come out fairly unscathed so far in the series, despite losing his hand, considering the amount of battles he’s been in. But now he could be in big trouble and it's all down to Brienne of Tarth.

The pair are set to reunite after seasons apart on Game of Thrones, but it might not be good news for the Lannister heir.

A surprising reunion between the two could point to Jaime (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) being in a very dangerous situation.

It was reported on fan site Watchers on the Wall that actors Nikolaj and Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne, had been spotted together filming a scene earlier this week.

Directors reportedly filmed a series of aerial shots for the third episode where the Night King will storm through Westeros.

the following episode, the publication says Brienne and Jaime will fight on the same side against the army of White Walkers.

It isn’t known where the scenes take place, but it will be somewhere where snow falls as it has been spied on the set.

However, this development hints at something sinister ahead for Jaime, as his death could involve Brienne, which he predicted several seasons ago.

One Reddit user has shared an important theory hinting exactly how Jaime could die in the eighth instalment of the fantasy epic.

The fan, called ICBanMI, said: “I have a prediction about Jamie Lannister.

“Season 5, episode 4, Jaime and Bronn go to Dorne and have a little bromance on a beach. They have a conversation about how they want to die.

“Jaime says, ‘In the arms of the woman I love.’ I predict he will die and be in the arms of Brienne of Tarth. Thoughts?”

The fan later went on to say that the “woman” in question could have been Cersei (Lena Headey) at first but turns out to be Brienne as the series comes to a close.

They continued: “I mean, he has to keep it ambiguous if [he’s thinking of] Cersei... being his sister.

“It would be very clever if at that moment, it was Cersei.... but in the end it's Brienne that makes his wish come true, since he realises her and him are identical in a lot of regards.”

Subsequently, if the pair come together in these episodes, it may be that Jaime is on his way out.

There could also be another tragic layer to his death, as one fan has predicted Jaime could get Brienne pregnant.

The pair have always had undeniable chemistry, and so a viewer has guessed this could produced a “sapphire eyed lion cub”.

Therefore, if he ends up being slain, it won’t just be Brienne who he’ll be leaving behind.

Although, he might not be the only one vying for her affections after Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) has been seen taking a shine to the warrior woman in recent series.
